Summer 2011

Memorial Weekend the boys and I, along with my awesome sister, made our trek across the United States from Tennessee to Utah. Being in Utah for the summer afforded us so many opportunities to go to family events that we otherwise would not have been able to do.

The first event being my Dad's 67th Birthday!

We went to the Hogle Zoo a trillion times!

Went to a Slip n' Slide party @ Kama & Amy's!

Saw Mailei in the Layton 4th of July Parade!

Evan & Mikey became the best of friends!

Mikey turned 1 and had a fabulous Super Hero party!

I did my first ever relay mud run with our friends Aaron & Amber!

Went to see Kenny Chesney with my sister where we ran into our friend Shannon!

And lots of family gatherings just for the fun of it!

Our New Home... Coming right along!

We just need a driveway, cabinets, a deck, flooring, and landcape... gosh sounds like a lot.

Master of Business Administration! I did it!

I DID IT! I finished my MBA and received my diploma in the mail this week. Graduation is July 23rd. There were moments I did not think it was possible. When in doubt I just remember everything my brother accomplished with his education and found my inspiration. Mike was the most supportive and encouraging husband. I never would have gone back to earn my MBA if it wasn't for him, he was my #1 fan!

Mother's Day!

Perfect Mother's Day! We sent new hand and foot prints to all the Grandma. Had Mother's Day tea at Ethan's school, where he gave me a beautiful hot plate with his hand print and a card. Then I had the best Mother's Day shopping and a hibachi dinner with my family. So so so happy!

Nashville Zoo!

Today we went to the Zoo in Nashville and had such a good time. The weather was perfect and the animals were active. Ethan was really into it. He kept saying, "I go to the shoe today!" and "I want more aminals peas."

It is new construction so use your imagination but we are so excited about our new house. The boys and I will be moving in the 2nd week of August and will be all settled for Mike's homecoming in January!
