October is month full of awareness; breast cancer, domestic violence, down syndrome, bullying prevention, autism, healthy lung, liver, lupus, SIDS, Spina Bifida, mental illness, baby loss, haemophilia just to name a few.
On October 20th the boys and I are participating in the 2012 Buddy Walk to honor our sweet friend Carter Coop. I talk about his Mom, Liz, a lot on my blog and on FB. She has become one of my best friends and we are so excited to be apart of Carter's Crew.

I just joined and pledged to raise $250 for Team Skip Dee Doo Dah in the March of Dimes March for Babies. Please read the following message from our amazing Team Captain, a woman I am honored to call my friends, and visit my page to help raise money for these sweet angels.

Message from the Team Captain
Our angel's halo is still beaming!
Jay and I welcomed our first child, Abigail Jane, into this world nearly 4 years ago. She was born with a genetic disorder and slightly premature but with a fight in her the size of Texas. She was the most precious gift God could have ever given us, and we have so many beautiful memories of her blessed life. We survived one of the hardest times in our life with the grace of the Lord along with family and friends' love and support. Every year we celebrate God's gift of her life and her strength to survive those short months; we also celebrate by supporting all the other families who are praying for survival. We humbly ask for your contribution to this very important and relevant cause. Your time, energy, walking legs, and money are all greatly accepted and appreciated. We''ll be walking in Nashville again this year; We'd love for you to join us here or in your own town, or you can just join your money with ours in support of the March of Dimes-March For Babies. Thank you!
Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. I'm walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help.
Please support my walk. Making a secure donation is easy: just click the 'donate now' button on this page. Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!
The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
