Evan meeting his Mom Mom for the first time.

This was one busy OR. Dr. Pollard & nurses at Enterprise Medical Center took very good care of us.

Dec. 28th 2010... Before Evans big arrival

Evan Michael was scheduled to enter this world by c-section. It was so nice knowing exactly what day we would go to the hospital and welcome our new baby boy. 5am we arrived at Enterprise Medical Center and checked in. We originally thought we would head on into the OR about 7am, about 10am we actually headed in. The time waiting was filled of excitement, anticipation, and anxiety. It seemed the longer we waited the more nervous I go. The nurse and anesthesiologist walked me into the OR and preped me for surgery. Once the spinal set in and Mike was by my side I was no longer nervous and couldn't wait to hear the cries of the little boy we waited so long to meet....

The Night Before Evan Arrived

Final shot of pregnant belly. I didn't sleep at all that night so excited for Evan to arrive.

Merry Christmas!!!

Note, cookies, & milk for Santa!

Reading 'The Night Before Christmas' on the night before Christmas :)

Mom Mom says, "Hey Ethan stand in front of the tree so I can get your a picture in your Christmas PJs"
Ethan says, "But I am dinosaur Mom"
OK dinosaur picture it is!

We spent Christmas Eve over at our friend David & Patsy. Ethan is friends with their grandson, John Parker. The boys were happy just playing with the boxes the toys came in.

We went to see Santa and Christmas lights at the Holiday Spectalur near our home. It is probably one of the most classy southern ;) experiences we have during our Alabama Christmas.

Ali trying to fit into her winter coat, she was freezing.

Santa smelled and talked funny. We explained to Ethan how the real Santa was busy getting ready for Christmas.

Christmas at Ethan's School

Ethan did so good in the school performance. He was trying so hard to get closer to that microphone.

Ethan was waiting for patiently for his turn on stage. He is in such a fun, cute class.

Ethan's teachers tell me his is always the last kid eating. This was no exception at the class party.

Ethan loves story time and I was so excited to see him loving it at school too.
